LETTER FROM THE SECRETARY-GENERAL

Dear Faculty Advisors and Delegates,

It is with great honor that we invite you to the 33rd Annual High School Model United Nations Conference at the University of California, Irvine. Our mission is to provide an educational and meaningful experience for every delegate who attends, and we are dedicated to making this conference a rewarding opportunity.

This year, our team at MUN at UCI has been driven to achieve transformative goals— expanding the amount of committees we offer, growing the size of our staff, and even forming new affiliations with other organizations on campus. We are proud to continue fostering an educational and passionate environment within the field of international relations. As someone who has been involved in MUN since my freshman year of high school, I’ve witnessed firsthand how invaluable a dedicated, driven, and passionate team is.

As we enter 2025, registration for our High School Conference will open in January and will close in March. We are committed to catering to the diverse interests of our delegates, building upon years of experience and feedback. I encourage you to explore our website to learn more information regarding our conference, the committees we’ll be hosting, and how to get involved.

MUN at UCI has consistently excelled in hosting an outstanding annual conference for students all across California. In its 33rd year, we are thrilled to invite and welcome all of you to the conference on April 12-13, 2025. Having been a part of MUN at UCI since my arrival at the university, I am eager to see what creative solutions arise from this year’s event. It’s safe to say MUN has become one of the most rewarding aspects of my academic journey, even influencing my future career path.
