LETTER FROM THE SECRETARY-GENERAL

Dear Faculty Advisors and Delegates,

It is an honor to invite you to UCIMUN’s 34th Annual Model United Nations High School Conference. Our goal is to provide a unique and educational experience this year by exposing participants to unique, fascinating, and personal topics that our media doesn’t normally cover.

This year, our team was challenged to look at their lives, the world, and consider what world issues we don’t see on our social media pages. We have been growing in the past few years and it has been wonderful to see the impact we have on all these delegates as they build skills they will use for the rest of their lives. It is up to us, to undertake the task of presenting these niche issues to these hungry learners and show them the small areas of the world we must be talking about.

As someone who has participated in MUN for nearly a decade, I have been impacted so heavily by the topics chosen. As we look to our conference this year, we hope you all are impacted and take something new home with you. Whether it be something historical or happening in the present, we hope it will make you think and grow.

We are now officially open for registration for our 2026 conference. Please look through our websites and background guides to see which topic grabs your attention and what you would like to learn more about. We attempt to cater to all interests in both the GA and Specials committees. If you have questions please, don’t hesitate to ask.

As we continue with our 34th year, I can’t wait to see what all the delegates have to offer and how they plan to solve the problems of the world. Our conference on April 25th & 26th, will show us the upcoming diplomats who will help solve the issues of our world. The people who step up when someone needs help. Be the difference, don’t wait for the future you want, start now.
