Position Paper Guidelines & Submissions
Position Papers are integral parts of Model United Nations, allowing delegates to research their topics using the context of their respective countries and characters. At MUN at UCI, we require all delegates to complete and submit a Position Paper in order to qualify for Committee Awards. Please see below for additional details, due dates, and requirements.
In order to be eligible for research awards, delegates must submit position papers to the committee emails listed below by 11:59pm, March 31st, 2025. Position papers submitted later than this deadline will not be eligible for research awards.
In order to be eligible for committee awards (commendations, outstanding, and best delegate), delegates must submit position papers to the committee emails by 11:59 PM, April 4th, 2025. If delegates fail to submit position papers by this deadline, the delegates will not be eligible for committee awards.
